Browser-local processing
ByteDip is designed to process supported text, images, PDFs, QR data, and CSV data in your browser. ByteDip does not operate an application upload endpoint for these tools, and tool inputs and generated results are not sent to ByteDip servers.
Background-removal model downloads
The background-removal tools download an AI model to your browser the first time you use them. The model download is separate from your image: the image is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to ByteDip.
Analytics
ByteDip asks before loading Google Analytics. If you choose “Allow analytics”, ByteDip collects limited usage events such as page views, the tool used, and whether an action was processed, copied, or downloaded. Analytics does not include your input, output, files, clipboard contents, or payloads. If you choose “No thanks”, Google Analytics is not loaded.
Downloads and browser storage
Files you choose to download are created by your browser. Temporary object URLs and in-memory tool state are controlled by the browser and may disappear when you close or reload the tab. Some browser or model caching may remain under your browser's own storage rules.
Contact
For questions or privacy requests, email contact@bytedip.com. Do not send sensitive source files by email unless you have chosen to do so.
Limits of the promise
Browser extensions, the browser vendor, network providers, third-party model hosting, and services you open from generated content may have their own data practices. Review those practices separately. ByteDip does not claim that every browser capability or every external destination is private.
